Have you ever thought how we evolve through each stage of our lives, from infanthood to our rebellious teenage years, the fast and furious college years, the exciting and new-found freedom of the first few years of working life, to the life changing stage of settling down with a spouse and having a baby to take care of for the rest of your life, approaching the mid-life crisis and finally to the golden years.
At each stage of life, do you stop and look back at the previous stage, think about how you’ve grown and whether you’ve regretted any part of the path of life you’ve taken? If given the chance, would you do it all the same or differently?
Throughout those different stages of life, have you seen any significant change of priority you place in your life? From people to material or non-material things? Whatever route you’ve gone through in life, you should enjoy the rest of the years moving forward. Forget the regrets and do what you need to do to live happily from here on. Enjoy life.
