Why would anyone want to risk their life to emulate Spiderman?

by specky on September 4, 2009

In the last couple of years I’ve read news reports of men who want to prove to the world that they are the Spiderman in the real world by climbing up steel buildings all over the world to prove their point. But the only point they’ve proven is that they really are quite silly to risk their lives like that!

The latest was the attempt of a man who climbed up the KLCC Twin Towers and got caught halfway. Silly act, don’t you think? I wonder which part of the whole drama helped him to drive home the point that he was a Spiderman-wannabe!

Whilst people may have hobbies and passions in climbing, I don’t think climbing up buildings is something to achieve. Not if you’re not one of the Amazing Race contestants.
