First influenza A H1N1 vaccine developed by Novartis

by specky on June 12, 2009

Soon after the announcement by WHO that the influenza A H1N1 alert level has been raised to 6 and declared it a pandemic, Novartis has just announced that it has completed the first development of H1N1 vaccination (read the story here). This should be good news to all. But note that it will only start its clinical trial of this vaccine in July and mass production will only begin after that.

Whatever it is, let’s hope that we will be able to get this H1N1 vaccine in our country soon before it blows out of proportion. As it is, with the bad condition of the haze returning once more and the threat of El Nino looming in, it doesn’t help to have this deadly disease on the rise.

So do the necessary to stay healthy always.
