I’ve heard of so many, and there’s always a favourite one that’s being told in so many different versions that you actually wonder how true the story really is after all. Well the reason I’m asking is because a friend recently received a windfall of money and had decided to bring the family to a vacation in Canada. She was looking for Toronto hotels when someone came along and very untactfully scared her with all kinds of eerie hotel ghost stories.
Someone’s going on a vacation to have fun and we really shouldn’t be instilling that kind of unwanted worry or fear in them right? Sometimes I wonder if it’s done out of kindness or envy!
In any case, I’m not one who believe much in those stories so come what may, if I’m going there, I’ll think nothing about it and just enjoy myself. That’s what I told my friend to do instead of wondering if the hotels she’s shortlisting would be good ones since she is eyeing more of the motel type rather than city hotel rooms.
Whatever it is, remember never to scare your friends with such stories just when they’re excitedly sharing with you about their vacation plans. Be happy for them and have good things to say.
