It’s funny, all my life I don’t even know where the government clinics are in town! I’ve always thought clinics are opened by private practitioners. Are there such a thing as a government clinic? I only know of government hospitals. Perhaps these clinics are located at these hospitals.
Anyway, the reason I brought this up is because I read in today’s news that the government is calling for more of its clinics to extend their operating hours. This came from some good response they had from some clinics which had earlier implemented longer operating hours.
I applaud this move to cater more to the people, letting them have better access to medical attention. We need to see more of this kind of initiatives rather than all that political circus that’s currenly on-going!
