I was driving around the other day and enjoyed some of the decorations that Chinese families put up around their homes to usher in the Chinese New Year that’s beginning this Sunday on Valentine’s Day.
Then I came across one particular house that had the most extraordinary decoration. It was a mix of green and pink and all the items didn’t seem to jive. Perhaps it was intentionally done due to whatever feng shui reasons. Even the doorbell was decorated with some funny amulet!
I guess we find it odd but the home owners must have found it thrilling and exciting and a reason for them to do what they did. Festive seasons can get real fun.
