A friend was asking for recommended photographers for her big day. I’ve heard of several big names who are great in their work and I gave her their names. She checked them out and came back to say that they cost quite a bit. Well yes, if you want professional photographers who are great in their work, there is always a price to pay for their services and talent.
But having seen many friends’ special moment photographs, I’ve concluded that it’s actually worth the money to invest in a photographer for his or her skill and talent. Of course that is if the style of photography suits you and is something you want.
It is sometimes less stressful and hassle to deal with when hiring a pro because you wouldn’t need to worry whether things will turn out the way you envision them to. So it’s not just about paying the money for good photographs but also for peace of mind!
After a long chat she finally saw my point and agreed to go ahead with more discussions with a Fort Myers photographer to cover her special moment. I’m sure it’ll all be worth while and she’ll be happy with the results.
Just ask those who have paid a premium for their photographers, they are often the ones who would recommend their photographers to others too. But take heed that one person’s preferred style may not be the same to another, so make sure first and foremost you agree with the photographer’s style before you commit.
